Piano Number System Course

At first, I learned to play piano by reading the tiny notes inside sheet music…

I felt like I couldn’t breath or move my hand in ANY other way and was constrained to the notes only.

Then, I learned to play by chords and I could breath again and play any song that I have a chord sheet for! It changed my entire world!

And then… again I faced so much hardship every time I sat at the piano and DIDN’T have a chord sheet in front of me.

I struggled with transposing songs on the fly, or picking up a song by ear.

And I got to a place where I just kept playing the same way…using the same skills…staying at the same level as five years ago.

That’s when I knew that something had to change. I needed to learn something new, something fresh.

I saw Brian Johnson post a new song that he wrote but instead of the letter chords… I saw NUMBERS.

That’s when my search for numbers began and I became OBSESSED with playing by numbers.

Every time I sat at a piano, I played by numbers without a chord sheet in front of me and that feeling was greater than what I have every experienced at the piano.

I now know my favorite key for my voice range and can sit at the piano and play any song. Like any. It’s insane.

And how can I NOT share that with you?

If you want something fresh in your playing and want to excel – this is for you.

This course will take you from playing by chords – to play by NUMBERS.

The Nashville Number system has gained a lot of popularity within the worship band community because of the many benefits that come with it.

First off, when playing by numbers, you only need ONE sheet per song – no more transposing and reprinting paper.

Secondly, the number system will make transposing SO easy for you. You won’t even need to think of it as transposing – you will think about the current key and that’s it.

And lastly, the number system makes it VERY easy to communicate with the team by simply using your hand.
